March 2010 – Cheery and earthy spice with big fruit. Intense, rich and bold, full-bodied with a hint of black pepper. Age 3-5 more years.
May 2010 – The 1999 Syrah Reserve is aging beautifully, with dense cherry characters layered with some gaminess and a hint of tobacco. The palate is holding up well, medium-bodied and finishing up with some bigger tannins. Drink now … Continue reading
March 2010 – Cherry and dark berry, with a hint of cedar spice, rich palate textured, finish lingers with black berry fruit. Drink or age for 4-6 more years.
December 2009 – Tobacco and hints of spice (clove, cinnamon, plum, cherry) in the nose. For the palate, think freshly picked cherry with a hint of tartness. Aging nicely, Drink or hold 2-3 years.
December 2009 – dark cherry nose with hints of herbal, and olives (kalamata). Opens nicely. Nice fruit on the nose and palate. Leaner body, showing some age. Drink or lay down 1-2 years.
March 2010 – slight reduction in nose, vanilla coffee, cherry , high ton cherry fruit up front, big tannins, cherries. This is a big wine. Hold 2-3 years more.
March 2010 – Luscious nose, dark cherry, slight floral, drank fruit. Palate has drying tannins, lingers on finish. Hold 3-5 years.
March 2010 – canned chery rose,hints of oak and dill – great! Palate is rich, some cherry, sweet, but on front-palate, lingers, dry. Drink now, or hold 1-2 years.
March 2010 – Great color, austere hints of spice, anice, soy, cranberry pie cheery. Palate is leaner, a little hot. Drink now.
