2008 Shiraz/Cabernet

Having just finished bottling all of the ’08 Bordeaux and the ’08 Reserve Syrah, my hands are stained black with wine.  A wonderful vintage whose hallmark will be its opulence, the 2008 reds are outstanding and lush.  The 2008 Shiraz/Cabernet already (bottled a mere 1-1/2 months ago) is pitch black in color with an intense nose of berry and spice.  And I believe this to be one of the most integrated Shiraz/Cabs in recent memory with 68% Syrah and 32% Cabernet Sauvignon.  Big, bold, yet approachably soft, this wine is tasting perfect for release at Open House this weekend.  If you want more information, check out the factsheet.  Enjoy!
